Weekend Adventures

Another weekend with two performances, but at least I didn't have any rehearsals to go to.  Our days were pretty much free and Sunday was my first complete day off since Thanksgiving!  Yeehaw!

On Saturday morning we had perfect beach weather!

We have no pictures from the beach part of the beach since we're busy playing/chasing a toddler.  He LOVES the sand and the waves.  This weekend he would label each wave as a "big wave" or a "baby wave."

Forgot to bring his change of clothes from the car (though I at least remembered a diaper) so he was in a bit of an oversized shirt.

After a big morning at the beach and some lunch, kiddo reached a whole new level of tired.  Put him in the cart at Target and he fell right back asleep.  Impressive.

On Sunday morning we finally decorated our tree.  That was interesting and fun with a curious toddler!  Then we went for a short hike.

After family nap time at home, we went down to Wailea in the evening to see Christmas lights.  We found Santa at some shops.  He was offering free cell phone photos because their equipment was down.  Daniel was NOT a fan and had zero interest in getting close to him.  My shoulder placement seems to imply I felt similarly.

We walked around some hotels to look at their decorations.

Daniel thought it was awesome to get to stay up after dark.  He was so excited on the way home but fell right to sleep once we got him in the crib.  A great weekend!  Now if only I didn't have 2 more rehearsals and 3 performances this coming weekend...
