Got a couple out of focus pictures for you today.

Daniel is learning to strum the ukulele rather than pulling at individual strings.  He's super happy to get to play it.

I bought these John Deere pacifiers before Danny was born and we never used them.  He hasn't used a pacifier in months (self weaned) but he found these yesterday and thought it was fun to play with them.

And finally, busy at work on his puzzle and his fidget board thing.

Tuesday

Daniel enjoyed some coffee on the couch with Dad this morning.

After school/daycare the two of us went for a swim.

Pretty fun stuff!  Then we practiced saying "uh oh" while eating oatmeal, as you do.  P.S.  No idea why the video quality is always so bad when I post these.  It's much better on my Google Photos..

Milkshake

Imitating Tom, Daniel decided to make a milkshake with his bottle.  He thought spraying milk everywhere was hilarious!

Also if anyone wants to tell me why our kiddo can say "quack quack and cheers" which we've just taught him but he still doesn't sign or say "more" and "please," which we've been working on for months...I'm all ears.  Kids...! :-)

Father's Day Photoshoot

We went for a beautiful walk/photoshoot yesterday evening.  Got a couple good ones of the boys.

Look who we found!  After 2 weeks apart and a delayed flight home that caused a 24 hour difference in arrival time, Tom is finally back on Maui!

More Playing in Texas

Phew, after a crazy awesome week in Texas, we're home.  Daniel learned SO much and had SO much fun all week.  Here are a few more pictures.

We had to go to the splash park one more time before we left.

We were thankful to find a play area in the Dallas airport.

Danny was awesome on the flight from DFW to LAX.  Of the 3 hour flight, he was awake for the first 2 hours, but he was totally easy to play with and keep busy despite being in a middle seat.  Then I stood up and strapped him in the Ergo and he fell asleep within 10 minutes.  Awesome.

Then we had a short layover in LAX.

The flight from LAX to OGG was a bit more tough.  5 hours and Daniel didn't fall asleep until the last 40 minutes.  I spent most of the flight standing, either with him in the Ergo, chasing him up and down the aisle, or with him sitting in my seat while I stood.  While it might look like he's sleeping in this next picture, he's not.  That'd be easy.  It was a really tough flight for me, but we made it!

Glad I survived flying with a 14 month old by myself, but next time I'd prefer not to do it alone :-).
