Overdue update!

We went to the beach for the first time in a LOOOONG time on Sunday.  Heidi loves riding in the wagon!

She also really loves eating sand we discovered.  Yuck.

Heidi had a great time on the beach but then we hung out in the tent for awhile since I didn't want her to get too much sun or sand.

No daycare this week means both kiddos came with me to school for a couple days.  Daniel got to hold a bird!

And play with the "big kids."

And watch a movie!

Sitting Up!

Heidi got to try scrambled eggs this weekend.  A few pieces made it to her mouth.  Most of the others were smashed around her tray or pushed on the floor.  I think she liked them well enough!

While I was getting Heidi down for a nap, Daniel found his way into the fridge and got into the gingerbread dough that was chilling.  Not sure how much of it he ate...

Heidi's been working really hard on sitting up.  She made a crazy amount of progress this weekend.  She basically can sit up unassisted now, though I usually put a pillow behind her just in case.

Tree Lighting

We went to a tree lighting in Wailea on Sunday night.  Daniel said his favorite part was the cookie.

My favorite part was attempting to get a picture with all of us.  This attempted selfie says it all.

Broccoli

Rainy Saturday morning spent reading at the library.

Tried some broccoli for the first time!  It was a fun mess.
