It's Okay, I'm Here

Darling Daniel consoling an upset Heidi.  It's hard to hear him over her cries but he just keeps saying "I'm here, I'm here.  It's okay. I'm here."

I'm saving this to show them when they're 13 and 15 and arguing over the front seat (or whatever else they'll surely find to argue about).

4 Month Pictures

Okay so these ones weren't taken until today, and it's safe to say Heidi is just about 4.5 months, but what are ya gonna do?

Also we only took like 3 pictures...

The good news is, this chunkers doesn't know (or care) how late the photos are.  Nothing is going to stop her good mood!

At 4 months, Heidi's been to 7 states plus D.C!  Just 43 more to go!  She's also learned to take a bottle, spent a full week at daycare, learned to roll over both ways, and is generally just really awesome and fun to be around.

At her check-up she weighed 16lbs 5oz and was 25 inches long.  She is growing like a weed!

3 Month Pictures

To be fair, I took these photos on September 11, just one day after Heidi turned 3 months.  It just took me this long to post them.

Pumpkin Patch

Obligatory pumpkin patch trip today!

Unfortunately the hours of the patch this year are only from 9-4 so it's basically always hot when you're there.  Plus the hours this year make it essentially impossible to go on a week day.  So it was packed..and hot..

Tried to get three of us looking at the camera at once.  Fail.

And then close enough!  I'd call this one a success!

When we got home, Heidi was playing on the floor and Daniel was spinning in circles (typical).  All the sudden I hear Heidi just giggle like crazy.  She saw Daniel playing/spinning/falling and thought it was hilarious.

Overdue Update

Holy moly I've been slacking!  Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks.

Had my first day back at work yesterday.  Tried to get a back to school picture with the kiddos.  I think we nailed it!

Somewhere along the way, this girl really started growing up!  Oy!

And she's recently found her feet.

Tom started using some blocks to teach Daniel arithmetic.  Session one was a success!  Ha.

Daniel and I discovered that his blocks fit the pattern of stars on this quilt.  We were very excited.

Heidi had her first trip to the pool a couple weeks back.  She liked it!
