Napili Weekend

Phew!  We've had a crazy weekend.  Danny spent all day Friday at school with me because daycare was closed.  He got to hang out with upper schoolers while I taught my classes.  I spent Friday evening at Seabury for senior night (our 3rd and final one of the year!) while Daniel and Tom had a boys night at home.  We was pooped!

Saturday we woke up and picked up my upper school principal at 9 and drove to Kaanapali to set up for prom.  Danny spent the time walking around the ballroom and lobby of the hotel flirting and interacting with everyone.  That's exhausting for him.  So after a quick lunch, we headed to a hotel in Napili to check in.

We got up sold and ended up in an awesome one bedroom condo right on the beach.  It was gorgeous, by far the best place we've ever stayed.  After a swim in the pool and lots of enjoying time on our patio, I unfortunately had to leave to go chaperone prom.

Tom and Danny had a good evening enjoying Napili Bay.

Now I don't know if it was the exhausting two days or the constant sound of waves breaking all night, but Daniel only woke up at 11:30pm and 5:00am last night.  That's a record ya'll!  I'm going to say it was the waves and say we need to move to a beach front property - ha!

This morning we tried to have a photoshoot for his one year birthday.  He wore his birthday boy shirt even though it's not his birthday.  We didn't get the kind of photos we are going for, but there still worth sharing on the blog.

We also walked down the beach a bit and took a nice dip in the ocean.

Our condo.  We had the doors/patio I'm walking into in this picture and the one to the left, which was the bedroom.  Crazy!

And finally, a little video of our place for the night.  It was super messy in this video, but the main part is how awesome the view (and sound) from the room was.

Needless to say, we really enjoyed our stay in Napili.  We came home this afternoon and then headed to a game night.  This little almost one year old was completely pooped after a really big weekend.  He'll probably be happy to go back to daycare tomorrow, it should be relaxing ha.

In other news...we're so spoiled.
