Hello Heidi!

Well this little girl took an extra week to decide she wanted to come out, but when she made up her mind, there was no stopping her!  I can only hope she continues to live her life with such determination.

We were thrilled to welcome Zoe Adelaide to our family on June 10 at 3:46am.  The name is perhaps a long story..we love the names Adelaide and Heidi.  One day (before we knew Danny was a boy) we discovered that Heidi can be used as a nickname for Adelaide.  Done!  We also love my mom but didn't think Zoe worked as a middle name.  So, Zoe Adelaide was decided.

We have so much to say and update and TONS of photos to go through, but only a very small bit of energy.  So I'll save all my talking for later.

Here are some photos from today that I love cause she looks like a choral conductor.

Hanging out waiting to finally be discharged.

I decided early on that my big treat after delivery would be an Italian sub from Jersey Mike's since I didn't eat deli meat during pregnancy.  Think what we got was big enough?

Nothing has been sweeter than watching Daniel interact with Heidi.  When he visited the hospital he wanted to hold her the entire time.  Here he is saying "shh" because she started crying.

Schad, party of 4!

So many more photos to go through and details to give.  Soon soon!  For now, I'm gonna go enjoy finally being home with everyone!

Get out!

A little Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me and a 2 mile walk in attempt to get this baby OUT!

Sunday Evening

On our Sunday evening Thompson Road walk, we got to see LOTS of cows.  It was pretty awesome.

Then when we got home, Daniel practiced calming down a baby.  Our friends lent us this fancy baby swing/seat contraption and the buttons are very exciting to push for a 2 year old!

After dinner, Danny was playing with these baskets and red ball.  When I asked what he was doing he said "I make volcano!"  Someone is growing up in Hawaii I guess...

Also, please ignore the fish face that he was making nearly the entire weekend.  Don't know what that's about..

Corn

Corn on the cob was 4 for $1 recently.  That's by far the cheapest we'll ever see it so I had to buy quite a few ears.  At first Daniel was really happy to just eat the corn but once he saw us eating off the cob he had to try it for himself.  And who can blame him?

Baby Pool

A coworker of mine wanted to give the baby and Daniel some presents recently.  She gave Danny a fun little pool.  He thought it was pretty awesome!

He thought it was better than an afternoon nap.  Not sure I agree, but what can ya do.

Sunglasses

He thinks he's SOO funny..

Memorial Day Fun/Photoshoot

Had a fun adventure in the Iao Valley this morning.  Daniel and Tom went for a dip in the stream, which was ridiculously fun (and cold).  Daniel especially loved being able to pick up rocks and throw them in the water.

Had to take a break part way through the swim to warm up a bit.

But then it was right back to it!

We also tried to take a few last pregnancy shots.  We really haven't taken many photos at all this time around.  This was me trying to stop laughing because Tom told me to smile with my mouth closed.  Clearly that worked..

It was a particularly fun time this morning.  Daniel had a blast.  So many choices of where to go swimming on this island!  Beach, pool, stream!  Yeehaw!
