Sunday Beach Trip

You can never have too many pictures of a sleeping baby!

We went to the beach this morning (Heidi's first time!).  We haven't been in awhile and Daniel was excited to use his boogie board again!

We went to the same beach that Daniel went to on his first beach trip 2 years ago. 

Rodeo Parade

What do you do when Costco has cherries on sale?  Make cherry pie of course!

This morning was the annual Rodeo Parade in Makawao.  It was drizzly/rainy but that didn't stop us!

Not sure we'll actually make it to the rodeo, but the parade was fun!

Later we saw some cows!

Chomp Chomp Chomp

Some new dinner time shenanigans.  We all have to take turns being a crocodile.  I just can't resist that laugh.  Bummer about the darkness of the video, but the sound is what's important!

4th of July

Here we go - more pictures!

One of my new favorites..

We had some fun pool time on Tuesday afternoon.  This pool might be tiny, but that doesn't stop Daniel from having a blast with it.  He's fearless to just throw his whole body in it.  He really has zero concept of his size.

I picked up this dress for Adelaide for July 4th at a clothing exchange a few months ago.  Daniel was not a fan.  For some reason as soon as he saw her in it he said "No, take it off!  Take it off, Adelaide!"  He won cause we went for a hike in the morning and decided a fancy dress was a bit impractical.  Cute though!

Made my annual fruit pizza for dessert (picture with artsy filter).  This year I made a half recipe and put it in a cake tin.  It was a good idea except the leftovers only lasted through lunch today.  Why do I only make this on the 4th of July?  Gotta make it more often.

We had more fun playing with water yesterday afternoon.  Tom sprayed Daniel with the hose, which we all thought was hilarious.

Daniel got to hold a couple of sparklers before bedtime.

Our friends who watched Danny while I was in the hospital just sent us a bunch of pictures from the summer so far.  Even though these are from the last few weeks and some are similar to ones I've posted, I've got to post some of these.

Sunday Funday

Daniel singing Twinkle Twinkle to Heidi.  I only caught it on video when he got to "like a diamond.."  Too stinkin' cute!

We went to Iao Valley and Daniel and Tom swam in the creek.  Daniel is getting really great at dunking under and then coming back up.

And finally, a picture from the end of a successful Costco run.  I actually kind of hate this picture because with his hat backwards he looks so old to me!  Plus he kind of looks like a punk.

Oh no!  Tom got ahold of some scissors while Danny was in the bath.  I guess it was time to get rid of his rat tail.  But in the humidity it curled up but even I have to admit it was getting a little unruly.  We just snipped a little off the back.

Cue tears.  Kidding.  Mostly.

Saturday Morning Fun

We went to hear some music at the library yesterday morning.  Uncle Wayne and the Howling Dog Band were playing some kids tunes outside.  It was actually really fun.

At one point they gave everyone egg shakers.  Chaos ensued and it was awesome.
