So Much Playing!

Here are some pictures from Texas.  Most of them are action shots of Danny playing.  He's too busy to pose anymore.

He's obsessed with this baby doll.  So crazy about it that I actually ordered him his own doll to be shipped here before we leave.  Hopefully the doll will be fun on the plane.

We went to a splash park, which was AWESOME.  Danny loved it and I loved that he could play without me having to be right on top of his every move.

No trip to Texas is complete without a trip to In n Out!

We've been to the pool 3 times to beat the heat.  I swear Danny has more fun than he lets on in pictures.

We're having a blast in Texas!  Tomorrow we head to Valley View to Grandma and Grandpa's house, then we take off on Saturday.  We'll need a vacation from our vacation!

Flight

Boarding our flight to DFW on Friday evening...

Landed and waiting for our bag at 5:30am (12:30am Maui time) Saturday morning.

We may have been tired, but we made it to Texas!  We've taken quite a few naps so far, but we're having a blast.  More pictures soon!

This Year in Swimwear

Modeling his new trunks.  His old pair was 6/9 month size and we needed a chisel to get them on.  These 18 month size are much better.  Plus now he matches his shirt!

Walkin' Outside

We spent a lot of time walking outside today.  This morning we went to the Maui Tropical Plantation to walk around (and get some really good coffee).

It was REALLY exciting!  Ha.

Oh, and we took a ton of pictures!  Love the excitement in his eyes in this next one.

Later this afternoon we went on a favorite hike/walk of ours.  We went at a 1 year old pace today, so it was more of a short/slow/exciting adventure!

There were so many sticks to pick up!  Looked like Daniel was trying to figure out how to make a fire.

If you don't like watching 2 minute videos of other people's kids walking around randomly (and I wouldn't blame you), then skip this video.  Honestly, nothing happens except our kid is walking in the woods.  But if that kind of thing sounds entertaining to you, then by all means, watch away!

Coloring

New Pool

Today we went to the pool in Kihei instead of the one right next to our house in Pukalani.  I'd heard rumors that there was a splash pad there and wanted to check it out.

No splash pad really, but there was this cool fountain thing in the kiddie pool.

Plus this kiddie pool is much better than the one in Pukalani...cleaner, more shallow, bigger. 

Daniel had a blast.

When we made him get out to take a break, he pretty much just sat there and stared at the fountain.

He loves jumping in the pool.
