3 Month Pictures

To be fair, I took these photos on September 11, just one day after Heidi turned 3 months.  It just took me this long to post them.

Pumpkin Patch

Obligatory pumpkin patch trip today!

Unfortunately the hours of the patch this year are only from 9-4 so it's basically always hot when you're there.  Plus the hours this year make it essentially impossible to go on a week day.  So it was packed..and hot..

Tried to get three of us looking at the camera at once.  Fail.

And then close enough!  I'd call this one a success!

When we got home, Heidi was playing on the floor and Daniel was spinning in circles (typical).  All the sudden I hear Heidi just giggle like crazy.  She saw Daniel playing/spinning/falling and thought it was hilarious.

Overdue Update

Holy moly I've been slacking!  Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks.

Had my first day back at work yesterday.  Tried to get a back to school picture with the kiddos.  I think we nailed it!

Somewhere along the way, this girl really started growing up!  Oy!

And she's recently found her feet.

Tom started using some blocks to teach Daniel arithmetic.  Session one was a success!  Ha.

Daniel and I discovered that his blocks fit the pattern of stars on this quilt.  We were very excited.

Heidi had her first trip to the pool a couple weeks back.  She liked it!

East Coast Trip - Part 3

Whoops, finally going to post the final pictures from our East Coast trip.  We went to D.C. for a day and a half.  It was wonderful.  We could have easily spent a week there.  We did our best to squeeze as much as we could into those short days.  The following pictures are out of order, but oh well!

First stop, Air and Space Museum!

We walked to the Capitol.

Here's where things start to get out of order.  The following morning we walked from our hotel to the White House.

Went to MLK Memorial, which I had never been to.

Though it rained on Thursday, Friday was just glorious to go memorial hopping.

Okay and we're back to Thursday at the on our way to the Capitol.

Checking out the kids area of the Museum of the American Indian.

Finished our museum day on Thursday with the American History Museum.  We didn't get enough time at all at the museums.  Easily could have spent a day at each one.  Next time!

Back to Friday's walk to the White House.

Drove to Arlington National Cemetery on Friday as well.  I'd never been.  It was stunning.

And finally, our pictures from our looooong journey home.  Three flights was killer, but we made it!
